  • One mans dream to resurrect his deceased Fathers Holden Ute
     
  • The majority of the rusted areas are removed with the Plasma cutter prior to abrasive blasting, meaning there wasn't much car left
     
  • Donor parts were sourced, sometimes the donor parts required donor parts
     
  • Sub rails full of mud is why these rusted out so effectively
     
  • The shell on the rotisserie broke in half during the abrasive blasting process...there wasn't much solid metal where it mattered
     
  • Replacement rear rail, floor pan section and rear cross sill with fabricated fuel tank pan is installed
     
  • Rear lower bulkhead fabricated and being trial fitted
     
  • Upper rear bulkhead panel formed and being trial fitted for trimming to size
     
  • Days of tweaking metal and welding
     
  • Patch panels shaped, trimmed and TIG welded
     
  • Countless pieces made to duplicate unobtainium parts
     
  • Tailgate opened up for an exploratory
     
  • Wheeling the shape for
     
  • Tipping the edges of the tailgate skin

  • Making inner tailgate frame
     
  • TIG welding in lower door skins
